Parents, teachers, and students,

Michelangelo’s is helping HGE PTA to raise money for our shade structures.

Here is how the Michelangelo’s Pizza program works:

Every 1st and 3rd Monday we get a percentage of the total sales made that day. It doesn’t matter who eats there, they give us a cut! So be sure to tell your family, friends, and neighbors to eat at Michelangelo’s every 1st and 3rd Monday; lunch or dinner.

You can dine at either Holly Springs location. They are located in the Wal-Mart shopping center and the Arbor Creek shopping center.

Our first date is set for Monday, July 21st. So take your family for some yummy pizza, spaghetti, or whatever Italian dish sounds good on Monday, July 21st.

The Michelangelo’s Pizza located at the Wal-Mart shopping center is buffet style, order/eat in, or take-out. No Deliveries from this restaurant. Michelangelo’s Pizza in Arbor Creek is order in or take-out. Deliveries are made from this restaurant only.

The new t-shirt design has been officially released today, Tuesday July 15, 2008.  Look for information in your Tuesday folder!

Checks should be made payable to Holly Grove Elementary PTA.  Please return order form and payment in same envelope, return to your child’s teacher, or place in the PTA mailbox in the mail room. Questions contact: Summer Kelly 412-2526 or skellyhgpta@yahoo.com.

Order deadline for Tracks 1, 2, & 3 is July 25th, for Track 4, is August 8th or can be mailed to the school attention PTA.  Orders will be delivered to your child.  Tracks 1, 3, & 4 on  September 4th,  Track 2 on September 8th.

SockHop
Reminder that all SOCK HOP BASKETS are due May 15th and are to be dropped off to Room 1506. Please remember to wrap your basket, and provide 2 copies of the contents of the basket, as well as a wrapped shoe box with a small hole in the top for tickets to be placed in.

By linking your card to our school and shopping at Kroger, our school was able to purchase 3 Ellison Die Cut Templates for our school workroom.  The approximate value of each die cut is $15.  Thank you!

Congratulations!
To Mrs. Sprague’s Fifth Graders, they are our no frills winning class for the month of April!  These Happenin’ Hedgehogs turned in an amazing 1245 submissions. Enjoy your special snacktime treat.   A big thank you to so many other classes that also had impressive totals for the month of April:  E. Fletcher (634), Jackson (556), C. Jones (457), Murray (349), Dell (318) and Jurosko (301).

Pizza Anybody?  It was a tough battle that came down to the last week of submissions, but we have a winner for the Boxtops for Education Pizza Party.  This party was offered to the class that turned in the most BTFE from the beginning of the school year.  Congratulations to Ms. Fletcher’s Fifth Graders.  A pizza party will be scheduled for your class when you return from track out!  Great job Hedgehogs!

Boxtops Warning!!!!
There are many Boxtops that expire on June 1st, 2008.  If you are holding on to any of these, please send them in AS SOON AS POSSIBLE so that these can be counted and submitted to General Mills before they expire.  Expired Boxtops do not count towards your class totals and earn nothing for our school.
There are only 2 months left to win a special snacktime treat for your class (we will not have a June winner).  So send in those Boxtops, Campbell’s labels and Harris Teeter milk caps!  Also, that pizza party is still up for grabs to the class who has turned in the most Boxtops for Education throughout the school year.  Final tallies will be taken on May 2nd!
