Second Annual Sock Hop
The Second Annual Sock Hop is scheduled to be on May 16 from 6-8:30, this year will be bigger and better, great dancing music from DJ Gene, grade level dances with Coach Benson, basket raffles by each class, best dressed contest for combined grade level, Games and face painting too!
The next Sock Hop planning meeting will be April 22 and May 6, 7pm at school. Information or questions, Brenda Priest 557-8150 or brendaPTA@thecrumb.com.
Sock Hop Baskets
If you haven’t heard by now, 40 classes are participating in putting together class baskets for the Sock Hop. These baskets are themed for each class, filled with donated items, and raffled off during the Sock Hop. If anyone needs a letter/donation receipt for their Sock Hop Baskets, please contact Tracy Edick at 762-1781 or hgptafundraising@yahoo.com. and she will get one to you.

Boxtops, Labels & Milk Caps
Wow! The March No Frills race was a tight one! Ms. Jurosko’s Kindergartners turned in 507 submissions and just barely edged out Ms. Fletcher’s Fifth Graders with their 504 no frills items. Thank you also to the classes of C. Fletcher, Hale, Echols & S. Jones who all had over 200 submissions to help make March another great no frills month. Ms. Jurosko’s class will be receiving a special snack to celebrate their win!
There are only 2 months left to win a special snacktime treat for your class (we will not have a June winner). So send in those Boxtops, Campbell’s labels and Harris Teeter milk caps! Also, that pizza party is still up for grabs to the class who has turned in the most Boxtops for Education throughout the school year. Final tallies will be taken on May 2nd!
