PTA Meeting
The March 3rd PTA meeting has been CANCELLED.
The new meeting will take place on Monday, March 17, 2008 in the Media Center at 6:30 p.m.
Congratulations
To the Kindergarteners in Ms. Fletcher’s Track 2 class. They are our no frills winning class for the month of February. With 808 submissions, they were unbeatable. Thanks also to the strong showings from Ms. LaCasse’s class (448), Ms. McCoy’s class (348) and Ms. Olin’s class (295).
Box Tops
February was another GREAT month for Box Tops. Please keep sending them in so that we can finish up the school year in a strong way! And don’t forget, that pizza party is out there for the class that sends in the most Box Tops for the school year! Final tallies for the pizza party will be taken on May 2nd!

Harris Teeter - March is Frozen Food Month - From March 1st until March 31st HT will donate 1%of the purchase dollars for every customer who is linked to our school and uses their VIC card to purchase any frozen food department item. There is no limit, so this sounds like a great time to stock up!
Jump!Zone
Come join us for some jumping fun! On March 7th, HGE PTA will be hosting Family Fun Night at Jump Zone located on 250 Premier Drive in Holly Springs. Purchased tickets will be coming home with your child. Be on the look out for them, and we’ll see you there.
Sock Hop!
The Second Annual Sock Hop Dance will be held Friday May 16th from 6-8:30. We will have themed basket raffles, Best Dressed contests, refreshments, group dancing (taught by Mr. Benson), and 50’s dance music. Dust off those patent leather shoes, poodle skirts and leather jackets. We are still in the planning stages and are in need of help in the decorations, ticket sales, set-up and clean-up. Volunteer!
- Keep the Box Tops and Campbell’s labels coming in.
- Don’t forget to volunteer for Lunch Bunch and for the Character Ed Team—the kids love it.
- Try to get by the media center at the school and register to volunteer. We are always in need of new faces.
