Grant Writer Needed
The PTA is searching for a Grant Writer for the Playground Shade Structures. We have saved nearly $8,500 for the structure! There are matching Grants out there, but we need someone with writing experience. Please contact Brenda Priest 557-8150 or brendaPTA@thecrumb.com for further information.
February Informances
All Kindergarten and First Grade Classes will be performing a brief presentation on what they have learned in music class. The Informance will last about 45 minutes. The dress is school attire, since the children will be sitting on the floor. Come join us for a treat. The dates are as follows:
- February 7th at 6:30 p.m. —Tracks 1 and 2
- February 21st at 6:30 p.m. —Tracks 3 and 4
*The General PTA meeting is also set for the following dates:
- February 7th at 6:30 p.m. —Tracks 1 and 2

The meeting will take place right before the Informances.
Book Fair
Our next Book Fair is scheduled for February 11th -19th. More information will be sent home with your student next week. Be on the lookout! Family Night is February 12th at 6pm in the media center. We will have story time and milk and cookies for snack.

Family Fun Night at Jump!Zone
Come join us for some jumping fun! On February 22nd & March 7th, HGE PTA will be hosting Family Fun Night at Jump Zone located on 250 Premier Drive in Holly Springs. Sock Hop Informational Meeting
The Second Annual Sock Hop Dance will be held Friday April 18th from 6-8:30. We will have themed basket raffles, Best Dressed contests, refreshments, group dancing (taught by Mr. Benson), and 50’s dance music. Dust off those patent leather shoes, poodle skirts and leather jackets. We are still in the planning stages and are in need of help in the decorations, ticket sales, set-up and clean-up. 5th Grade Graduation
Want to get involved in the 5th Grade Graduation? The PTA will pay for T-shirts and a cake for the event. We need any Parent coordinators for this event.
